Testing of micronized praziquantel and albendazole dosage forms against bothriocephalosis of cyprinids

The purpose of the research is to develop and test new dosage forms against bothriocephalosis cyprinids. Materials methods . study was performed in experimental therapy laboratory VNIIP – FSC VIEV, on a cage fish farm Cherepetsky Rybkhoz JSC (Suvorov, Tula Region). A formulation developed for two micronized albendazole praziquantel prevent treat cestodosis fish, namely, praziquantel. For experiments drugs cyprinids, medicated feeds were using special technology with added hot water beet molasses. Each feed contained 2% praziquantel- albendazole-based form. To determine infection cestodes, carp yearlings studied at JSC. Results discussion Preliminary tests showed 58.3% extense-effectiveness 61.9% intense-effectiveness, 75.0% 88.1% intense-effectiveness when applied once dose (doses AS, respectively).
